# How to set up IPTV on Android TV, a phone or a tablet

From installing Zapvo to watching your first channel takes about five minutes. You need the details from your provider: an M3U link, an Xtream Codes account or a Stalker portal.

1. **Install Zapvo** — On a TV, open Google Play and search for Zapvo. On a phone or tablet, install it from Google Play as usual.
2. **Open it and accept the terms** — Zapvo starts in your device's language. You can read every legal text before you accept.
3. **Choose your source type** — M3U playlist, Xtream Codes or Stalker portal. Use what your provider gave you.
4. **Enter the details** — Paste the M3U link, type the server, user name and password, or the portal address. On a TV, scan the code on the screen and type on your phone instead.
5. **Wait a few seconds** — Zapvo checks the details and imports channels, movies and series. Even huge lists take only seconds.
6. **Check the guide** — Open the Guide. If it's empty, add an XMLTV address from your provider in the source settings.
7. **Make it yours** — Add favorites, set up profiles for the family and a parental PIN if you need one.

## Tips for typing on a TV

Long addresses are easy to mistype with a remote. When Zapvo asks for a playlist on the TV, it shows a code: scan it with your phone's camera and a page opens in your browser where you can type or paste everything, even send a playlist file. [More about the phone remote](https://zapvo.app/en/guides/phone-remote).

## Several playlists?

Add as many sources as you like. Each profile can watch its own source, and you can switch with a few presses.

## Something not working?

If the list doesn't load or the picture stutters, see our [troubleshooting guide](https://zapvo.app/en/guides/troubleshooting) or [contact us](https://zapvo.app/en/support).

## Bring your playlist. Zapvo does the rest.

Install Zapvo, add your source and watch. Every feature is free for 30 days, no card needed.
